Ian Goh is a partner of KPCB China. He is also a partner of TDF Capital and originally joined Venture TDF in 2004 as a director. He brings to TDF Capital ten years of experience in startup operations, finance and strategic planning. Ian's primary focus is on internet, media and consumer sectors, He is responsible of TDF Capital investment in CGEN Media (acquired by Focus Media: FMCN) and serves on the Board of Directors of PPG Direct Merchant and Madhouse Inc.

Before joining Venture TDF, Ian was the Chief Financial Officer for Lycos Asia, the leading internet portal with a presence in nine countries including China. He joined Lycos Asia as Senior Corporate Development Manager, responsible for strategic planning and acquisitions for the entire group. Ian helped complete a series of acquisitions including MyRice.com and 8d8d.com and coordinated the roll out of various projects in Greater China. Ian was also responsible for the execution of international and regional alliances, including Bertlesmann and Manchester United.

Prior to Lycos Asia, Ian was involved in several startups in Singapore and Beijing. Prior to that he worked in the fund management industry. Ian earned a Bachelor Degree from Murdoch University, Australia, and holds both CPA and CFA qualifications.
