Michelle Jin joined KPCB China in 2009 as Director, HR & Recruiting.  Michelle mainly works with the portfolio companies for their senior executive placement, company organization development and general human resources advisory.

Before joining into KPCB China, Michelle had 14 years experiences in executive search and human resources management.  She was the Country Manager of Staff Service, one of the world top 10 recruitment companies.  Prior to that, Michelle was the Regional Director of St. George’s Harvey Nash, the Asian arm of Harvey Nash Plc whish is one UK based global executive search firm.  Michelle managed two offices and played strategic role in helping company successfully merge with Hays Executives in year 2006.  During her career as executive search consultant, Michelle worked extensively with multinational companies and VC/PE backed Chinese companies for their C-Suite and senior management search. Michelle started her career in PPG Industrial and worked for AsiaEC, one startup E-commerce company as HR generalist.

Michelle holds Bachelor of Art from Tianjin Foreign Language Institute and finished Master Degree courses of Industrial Psychology from Jinan University.
