Series C Financing to Fuel Adoption of Predictive Analytics for Virtual Datacenter Management
Mountain View, Calif. – June 24, 2014 – CloudPhysics, who provides predictive analytics for virtual datacenter management, today announced it has secured $15 million in a Series C round of funding, led by venture capital firm Jafco Ventures with participation from the company’s existing investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Mayfield. CloudPhysics, who has raised $27.5 million to date, will use the funding to invest further in developing its groundbreaking SaaS solution, which leverages Big Data analytics to enable IT to uncover hidden operational hazards before problems emerge and identifies radical efficiency improvements in virtualized IT operations management. The company will also use the funding to expand go-to-market activities and scale the company’s business.
The company today also announced the general availability of Storage Analytics, a new release of its predictive analytics solution that dramatically simplifies the overwhelming complexities of managing storage resources in the virtual datacenter.
