John was co-chair of:
  • California Proposition 39, raising $23 Billion of funding for public schools
  • California Proposition 71, authorizing $3 Billion for stem cell research
  • NO on California Proposition 211, stopping frivolous lawsuits and lawyers
He helped advocate the creation of the $1 Billion BARDA program to strengthen national preparedness against pandemic flu, and he led a delegation of entrepreneurs to advocate passage of California’s landmark AB32: Global Warming Solutions Act.
